Ingredients for Dal Makhani:

Black gram dal-2/3 cup
rajma- 1/3 cup
Ginger and garlic paste- 2 tsp.
One finely chopped onions
Tomato puree- 1/2 pack
Well beaten curd-1/2 cup
Cream-100 grams
Green chilies- 2 to 3
Chili powder- 1/4 tsp.
chaat masala-2 tsp.
garam masala-1 tsp.
Ghee- 2 to3 tsp.
Salt to taste

Method:

Wash and soak black gram dal and rajma overnight. Stir fry the chopped onions till golden brown and keep aside. Add salt, ginger- garlic paste, chilli powder,
garam masala, chaat masala,ghee and tomato puree. Pressure cook it for 20-25 mins. Add some warm water and well beaten curd. Let it simmer for another 1/2 hour. Remove from the flame and add cream and fried onions. Mix well and serve hot garnished with cream.
