Ingredients:

1 cup Toovar Dal
1 Green Pepper (cut into pieces)
1 Onion (chopped)
1 Tomato (chopped)
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1 tsp Tamarind Paste
10-12 curry leaves
1-2 dry red chillies
Pinch of turmeric Powder
Coriander leaves
Boiled Vegetables
Salt to taste

Method:

Cook dal with 3 cups of water. Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry the onions. Add mustard seeds, red chillies and curry leaves. Cook for a minute. Add the boiled vegetables, tamarind paste, tomatoes and turmeric powder. Cook for 10 minutes. Add the boiled dal, mix well and let it cook for another 10-15 minutes. Serve hot.
